Hi
My daughter gets picked up from school once a week by my exs mum. When she comes home her Nan has always brought her something, which isn't a problem but just recently it's been stuff that her Nan knows I don't allow free play with like paint, glue, sand, putty etc
Then I feel bad putting it in her craft box for supervised play at a later time because she's just been brought it.
My daughter is 8 but she can't even have felt tips in her bedroom as she draws all over things 🙄
Any advice on how to approach this would be greatly appreciated
I'm a single mum so money is tight I can't keep replacing carpets etc

Just say "That's kind of Nana. We'll put it away til the weekend/whenever we do craft stuff".

Don't feel bad. If your DD needs supervision to avoid damaging things then that's what needs to happen.
