Nappy changes

Hi just looking to get some advice and insight on people's experiences. I know it's such a simple task but sometimes I feel like I'm being too much of a perfectionist when changing the wee man's nappies. Sometimes when you put a nappy on it looks different to other times so I question whether it's on okay and make adjustments. I make sure that the waist isn't too tight as he's got a bit of redness before but that's cleared after loosening. Also around the legs I don't like to be too tight but make sure the frills are pulled out. No leakages yet thank god! Sometimes this need for perfection backfires though as you all know the moment you let the cold air hit that's another nappy filled. Am I being pernickety doing this task? I feel like I need to loosen up and stop worrying. after all it's only a nappy and what's the worst that can happen it leaks and there's a mess.

Wait until he gets really wriggly and you are trying to pin him down with one hand whilst wrestling a nappy on with the other-it won’t look perfect then! Grin

It doesn’t need to be perfect, honestly. As long as it’s not too tight or rubbing, then the worst it can do is leak. Congratulations on your little boy.
