Does anyone else's baby drink around 4/5 ounces and then is also hungry every 2 hours?

Growth spurt?

Is the baby on formula or breastmilk? I could not breastfeed successfully so DS was on formula from around 4 days old. I moved up to the next level of formula at that age- I think it was SMA gold when newborn then SMA white or blue- I had no idea until a friend was agast I was still on the gold milk. He was hungry and slept much better on the new formula.

I have no idea how much they took, but both of mine breastfed every hour til they were 5 or 6m old.

Could be a symptom of silent reflux

My little boy is 4 weeks old, formula fed and is on 5oz every 2-3 hours. He’s a big baby and is always hungry.

My first cried all the time after feeding. In hindsight I think it was because he was still hungry, however the HV drummed it into me that he should be taking ‘X’ ounces at ‘X’ weeks/months old and I never deviated.

Now i feed my second when he signals he is hungry and don’t tend to stick to the generic advice as you know your baby.

What milk are you using?
