Egg allergy in babies?

I gave my DD (8 months) scrambled eggs for dinner last night (first time having egg) and ever since she's had a red rash on her cheeks and on her chin but no other symptoms and seems perfectly fine

Does anyone know what this could be? It doesn't seem to be itchy or bothering her at all. Could it just be a slight reaction to the egg?

Egg allergy is common and they usually grow out of it after the age of one

My LO had a reaction to egg too when weaning. She gets a rash if she has egg. You need to inform GP and ask for referral to allergy specialist. Continue with giving other allergens as normal - starting with 1/4 teaspoon and increasing after a couple of days.
Children do often grow out of it but you need.support in approaching having egg in the future.
