Looking for some advice. My 10 week old has been on mezzopram omeprazole since 5 weeks with a change in dose according to weight gain etc. The pharmacist recently gave us losec MUPS for his recent prescription. I’ve done some digging and apparently this is the more expensive version and works better, however today was the first day giving it to him and so far throughout the night he has shown all his old symptoms from 5 weeks ago as if the medication isn’t working... does anyone know if this is normal? I don’t see why it would happen as it’s the same drug just a different brand name? TIA
