Does this look like a drool rash?

My sons 2 and he’s been drooling a lot recently and licking his chin a lot and I have just noticed this now. Does this look like a drool rash? Anything I can put on it to soothe it?

I used Vaseline because it acts as a barrier

I used Penaten cream. It seemed to stay on better. My dc's teething rash was a lot pinkish red dots looked a mess.
