The 5am feed. It's the last one to drop and honest to god it's more exhausting than waking every 2hrs.

How old is LO? Would a middle of the night feed be easier for you? So waking baby at 3am for a feed then you can go back to sleep for a good few hours rather than being woken at 5am and struggling to get back to sleep for a short period?

I know it sounds like a step back but if LO is not ready to drop that last feed then just do whatever you need to make it less painful for you.

Does anything else happen at 5am? Heating going on? Neighbours making some sort of noise? Is LO warm enough?

She's 10m today - in theory that's a really good idea, the issue would be that if I set an alarm to wake me at 3 I'd wake the whole house up and we'd then have a sobbing toddler too. I think I might have to try just putting her off when she wakes and pushing it back by 10min each morning. It's just so hard to find the willpower when I so badly want to be asleep!

You can slowly reduce the feed by 1 minute (or 1 oz if bottle fed) per night and see if she'll get the idea?

If she's breastfed, I would honestly be taking her in bed with me for the final stretch of sleep. Then you only need to be awake for 2 minutes to grab her and get her on the boob.

Could you do an evening dream feed, around 10pm/11pm? That might push her through an extra few hours.

Otherwise, I'd try reducing the amount she has (slowly) and also pushing back the time she has it (slowly).
