1 year old diarrhoea

My daughter has just turned one and for several weeks now her poo has just been awful. Explosive loose / diarrhoea stools in her nappy that have a really strong vinegary smell. This is happening at least three times a day. I'm taking her to the GP next week, but wondered if anyone had experienced similar?

She's still breastfeeding with some formula. We've just started her on cows milk. She is a really good eater and has a vegetarian diet. She's otherwise pretty happy and appears well. Her weight seems fine. She had a spell like this in the summer with awful poo and the HV told me it was almost certainly due to teething however as she's only just cut her first two so I'm a bit loathe to assume it is teething as they were a long time coming!

Apparently toddler diarrhoea is a thing? They have it for a few years for no reason.

Mine always had liquid poops while he was teething, which he has been pretty much all his life. We're finally slowing down at 16 months - 17 teeth and his poops are solid again.

By all means though, do have the GP check. It's probably nothing, but you do want to be certain!
