Hi,

I'm just looking for some advice from other mums. My DD is 13 weeks, my DH has been suffering with a viral infection since last week and unfortunately we have both caught it.

I took her to the doctors as soon as she started showing symptoms, but unfortunately because she is so young there is not much I can do in terms of medication. I have given her Calpol when needed.

The problem is she is not feeding enough, she normally takes 7oz every 3.5/4 hours, a very hungry girl. She's 15lbs. And at the moment she's only managing 3/4oz. She also slept 12 hours last night.

I'm just looking for some advice from other mums who's LO has been sick, and is this feeding/sleeping schedule okay? Or do I need to be more concerned.

Thank you in advance!

She's sleeping it off, sleep is the best thing for them.

As long as she's having some milk and still having wet nappies that's good.
When you think about it, when we're ill we go off food so it's just the same.

Snufflebabe helped my child when they were young during illness, on soles of his feet.
