Taking 8 week old out in the cold

My baby is 8 weeks old, temperature here is due to be -3 later this morning. I’ve arranged to meet a friend for a walk but not sure if I’m being negligent if we go!!

I have a carrier/sling and a baby wearing coat that we could wear…what should I dress him in if we wear that?

We just put our child at that age in a pushchair with a blanket or 2 and a jumper/cardigan on, we went for walks most days

When I carry baby, I put her in a waterproof pram suit with a balaclava.

She has mitts and socks on too even if the pram suit has those built in.

The carrier itself provides an extra layer of warmth, plus you've got the baby wearing coat.

I wouldn't worry about over dressing in this weather. It's freezing!
