Advice please??

would you just love input or advice on the following

My seven week old DD always lays down on her back with her head to the side, either side she’ll lay on, I don’t think it’s Torticollis because she lays on both sides, just never the back of her head. HV agrees with this and says it’s normal but my intuition (could be paranoia) says it’s not normal. I understand at maybe 1/2 weeks old but still now??? Every other baby I’ve seen at this age lies on the back of their head

has anyone else been through this and when can I expect it to change? It’s annoying cus it’s hard to get nice pics and stuff because she’s always turned to the side :(

It is entirely normal. I should have a stern word with her and tell her she is ruining the photos.

Just had a flick through BackThen and all three of mine appeared to sleep with their heads to the side around that age. And all three look adorable in the photos.

@ReeseWitherfork really?? Thank u for looking! :) don’t get me wrong, I love her pictures but I’d just love to get more where she’s lying on the back of her head looking up x

It's unusual for them to sleep with their heads to the aii? Mine both did it throughout babyhood and I never thought anything of it.

@CoalCraft tbh I never thought much of it either until I’d meet up with other mums with babies of similar age and I noticed every baby i put my DD next to, they’d lie on the back of her head and her to the side 🧐
