Not a question but just a post to say - I’m a first time mum of a 7.5week old baby boy who just started smiling over the weekend! It’s such a joy to see!

I’ve found the first 7.5 weeks to be the most exhausting (mentally and physically) weeks of my life and there have been moments of oh my god what have I done when I’m up at 3am but my gosh those smiles are so worth it.

so any other first time mums out that there that need something to keep them going - the first baby smiles are it!

so so so precious!

The first smile is amazing. The ifeyst laugh even more amazing. The first step even more so. I suspect it just gets better and better! My son caught a tennis ball two handed from a long ish distance (for him anyway) for the first time last night. Enjoy all the firsts, they're just so wonderful!

Mummy to an 8 week old here!. Smiles melt my heart and I definitely agree it's been an exhausting 8 weeks. So hard and I don't think I'll ever enjoy a night feed !

Congrats 😊
I was too shell-shocked after my first to properly savour those little moments.

I have my second now, and my favourite thing in the world is to rub my cheeks onto baby’s soft peach-fuzzy head and sniff him.
