Separation Anxiety at 8 months - how to navigate?

My 8mo daughter seems to have developed some serious separation anxiety. She often cries when I leave the room. She is also crying at nap time and overnight when she wakes (she doesn’t sleep though). She actually seems a bit traumatised to be in her cot. Anyone know how I can navigate this without making it worse? It’s the sleep that’s the biggest issue, she’s waking far too frequently and transferring her back to her cot is a nightmare. I don’t want the poor girl to be upset but this isn’t very sustainable!

Don’t have any advice sorry as we are in the same situation so hopefully someone comes along with some help soon!
our 9 month old has never been the best sleeper (terrible actually) but would always nap in his cot and sleep most of the night there too. Past couple of weeks though he screams when we put him in it but the second you pick him up he goes straight back to sleep.
We’ve tried everything but it’s like he can’t bear to be too far from either of us
