hoping for some advice,
My daughter is 3 in march, I split with her biological father when she was young due to mental abuse which started to turn physical, he also had a severe gambling problem and stole money from me multiple times, my full relationship with him he wasn't a good dad to my daughter I done mostly everything myself for her,
he would call me names everyday infrint of my daughter horrible names such as a w h o r e , he would tell my daughter I hated her and he was taking her away and she wouldn't see me again, it was terrible, he smashed glass at me infrint of her, got a knife to me and threatened to kill me and my step dad if I called for help, it got to the point I was scared to go to sleep , I thankfully got out of the relationship and moved in with my parents,
I said supervised contact with his mother as I do not trust him with my daughter, he never showed to any of them, never paid child maintenance, months would go by with no contact from him, he contacted in April this year asking for his new girlfriend to meet my daughter, I said no as my daughter doesn't even know him or see him never mind another stranger, he now has a new girlfriend so I'm glad I made that decision,
fast forward to now, I am 36 weeks pregnant with my new partner ( who is lovely and treats my daughter like his own ) but my daughter bio father has text me today asking to see my daughter, I have replied telling him not just now as I'm due a baby soon and do not have the head space to deal with this just now ( I personally don't think I should jump to his whistle just because he has decided he wants to see her )
He knows supervised contact is the only way I will let him see her, this is not me being bitter I do not trust him with my daughter he's violent and a narcissist.
he pops up every now and then ( 9 months since last time ) trying to call the shots and dictate what's happening and I have had enough now, what can I do? he's on the birth certificate
