6 week old bowel movements

Good evening,

I'm at a bit of a loss.
My LG is 6 weeks old and for the last week she has been struggling to poop. She is EBF and has always pooped 5-6 times a day until a week ago. She now goes once very 2 days but they are massive!! Very orange/yellow and loose paste like in texture.

The problem is she is becoming uncomfortable and straining but nothing is forthcoming. This also ties in when she's backed up and feeding so tends to spit up her feeds a lot. I'd assume a there no room for the milk to go. Still having wet nappies but lack of bowel movement is causing her to be irritated and either over feed to soothe or just normal feeding and the milk won't stay down.

I was under the impression EBF don't get constipated.

Is this normal bowel/digestive progression? She's not on any medication just breast milk.

Do we just wait it out or is there anything we can do? We bought a Frida Windi but my wife refuses to use it because of the potential risk of damage.

Any advice please.

Thank you
