Toddler skin breaking out in cold weather

His poor face and lips are getting really dry and cracked in the cold weather (we’re in the north of Scotland) no matter what I try and do. I think a combination of that and the central heating are just playing havoc with his skin.

I moisturise it multiple times a day and have tried putting barrier cream on before going out to hopefully combat it a bit but no luck so far! His skin is particularly sensitive and he had had mild eczema since he was a newborn.

Anyone else’s little one like this? Can you suggest any products?

we use palmers in the tub in cod weather.
just the thinnest layer before setting out.
it doesn't sting.

kids are teens now, but we cycle a lot and without protecting our hands they get sore at the knuckles.

@greenacrylicpaint Thank you 😊 I’ll try that! I’ve been slathering him in Zerobase and Epiderm that we use for his Eczema to try and not make things worse by introducing other products and giving him an eczema flare up but I think he’s going to need something else.
