CMPA or baby acne

My LO has a lot of spots on his face. He is 2 weeks old but has had them to this extent since about a week/week and a half. They have white heads clusters and are surrounded quite angry red.
My other son had CMPA (although never had any acne) so I am concerned it could be that and not just baby acne.
I will speak to the GP but any experience would be useful. I've tried to post photos but it's not currently working.

My little boy had baby acne until he was about 8 weeks old. Never had CMPA and it cleared on its own :-)

DD had baby acne and it definitely wasn't CMPA. I have it myself so knew it couldn't be that as she was so settled.

If you have milk try dripping some on his face, if it’s acne then it should clear it up a bit. If it only gets worse by day then more likely to be CMPA. Not a very scientific test I know x

Thanks all - it's more how angry and puss filled the spots are that made me consider it. Fingers crossed it clears
