Please don’t judge! Baby might have eaten from the same bowl used to store fabric softener

So I have this bowl for my son and it’s similar to the other ones. I picked it up to feed him and there was nothing in there it was clean I rinsed it and gave my son his food he had about 4-5 bits and I tasted it when I did I could taste very little some sort of fabric softener in it so I cleaned it out and did give him anymore. When I asked my husband he said he used that bowl to store some fabric softener as he though it was a different bowl my baby is fine and it’s been an hour since he ate it should I be worried?

I wouldn’t give it a seconds thought. It was washed first, and will be totally fine.

no different to sucking on a blanket that's been washed in the fabric conditioner, it will be absolutely fine.

@MolesOnPoles yes definitely washed nothing in there I have now washed the bowl several times but still I can taste something funny in there. 😩 I am throwing it away anyway but I think he should be fine. I have anxiety aswell so these things don’t help

@Dartmoorcheffy oh yes I actually didn’t think it that way he puts his clothes in his mouth all the time aswell. Thank you really put my mind at ease
