Help needed identifying a rash on my child

My son just came out in a rash, he's been coughing for a few days and I'm worried he has strep A. If anyone is still up, please let me know if this looks like it.

Does it feel like sandpaper, Scarlett fever usually feels rough. I would take him to the GP tomorrow just to be on the safe side.

Thanks for the reply! It feels very smoothe, but I'll take him to the GP tomorrow.

It looks like a viral rash. I’d give paracetamol if he has a fever and has had it before and contact your gp in the morning.
