I'm only asking this because I'm hearing different stories. I have a 11 month old baby and I am wondering how ar risk is she of getting strep A. She has afew Christmas events next week at her little classes and I'm not sure if I should take her. Any opinions? I'm not being a drama queen just a FTM and no really sure about this stuff.

Can't answer your question directly but I'm 31 and went to the hospital yesterday (GP sent me as no apps at the surgery). I have strep A and they wanted to admit me. I declined as feel beds are short enough but I've honestly been really I'll. heart rate was booming. Temperature was 38.6. I've literally got no voice. Can barely swallow. Swollen nodes. Sore tongue (?!) I said I feel like a drama queen and he said you are playing it down, you are really not well and I knew as soon as you walked in.

I suppose my point is if you do suspect your child catches it, get her seen straight away

@Catdaft it's awful but I can't think what it would be like for babies 😢.
