Health anxiety

I have a very anxious personality as it is but recently have developed a total fear of becoming ill myself and how I'd cope looking after my baby. I fear so much getting a cold and lately it's all I think about. Is this normal? How do you cope if you're ill with young children?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Do you have a partner to help?
I'm not as scared of you but I know when I get a cold things get really tough

I have a husband who is amazing and I am also pregnant which is probably not helping!

Relax you'll be fine! Are you prone to anxiety in general?

You just carry on with a cold. If breastfeeding you unfortunately shouldn't take decongestants but can take painkillers and nasal sprays. Tissues in every room, the car and your bag.

It’s no fun being sick while looking after a small baby but you manage because you have to. We had a miserable week or two when me, DH and 3 month old DD were all sick with a bad cold but it passed. If you’re really sick hopefully your partner can help. I imagine screen time would also play a big role once they are a bit bigger.
