Hi my son is 13 months old, I’m after toy ideas please.

he already has:
toot too sets
activity table
toy kitchen
play food
letter box
things that shoot balls out
balls
books
play hoover
stacking cups
those squeaky eggs things
duplo
teddys
toys that dance and talk
a few other bits I can’t think of

He's not massively into any of them, apart from the balls. Struggling for Christmas present ideas, what are/were your child’s favourite at this age?

thanks so much

Plastic watering can to play with in the bath has been a long-term winner.

Cardboard box, some sensory scarves/foil blanket, one of those bash in the shape benches (comes with a little hammer), mini xylophone and shakers.

My DS loved putting things in things at that age so he got a selection of boxes and baskets! You could probably wrap up some of his current toys and hand them over again!

Those blocks that are magnetic so you can sort of clip them together/build things

Hi @Megan0909 Thanks for posting. Lots of young children enjoy playing in water. We have an article on the best bath toys for babies and toddlers that you might be interested in. Some of the products were chosen after being recommended by other Mumsnet users, so you'll hopefully find a toy he will love.
