Baby hates being naked - screams non stop

As the title suggests my 6.5week old hates being naked and screams so much when naked that he chokes himself then cries more and more.
changing him is nearly always a 2 man job especially if an outfit change and not just a nappy change and bath time is super stressful.
i make sure areas are toasty warm before changing, sing songs, pull faces, talk calmly, try covering up parts of him so not fully naked, in the bath I basically wrap him in a giant muslin so he’s not exposed and wash limb at a time.

is this something he will grow out of? I guess by 6.5 weeks with the amount of changes he gets he would be used to it by now but it’s just getting stressful to do anything that involves making him naked!

any tips?

My first DC was like this, even for simple nappy changes. Nothing helped other than just doing things as quickly as possible. I remember that at 10 weeks we turned a corner, don't know what changed but she stopped the screaming. It was really shit so you have my sympathy.

My youngest used to scream blue murder when changing her nappy. I used to put fleece blankets on the changing mat so she felt warmer which helped. She then just grew out of it.

Are you lining the changing mat with something warmer? I used a hand towel.
But yes, both of mine hated being completely naked at that age - it passed.
