I’ve always liked things to be very clean but since having dc (only a few weeks) it has escalated and I know it needs to stop.

can you wash clothes with poo on? Won’t it contaminate their clothes and they chew them?

I worry I have wiped them and then a trace of poo has gone on their body, then hands, then mouth. Surely this happens and how do you stop it? Would they get very unwell?

I started worrying I shouldn’t wash clothes that have fallen off the pram as it might have come into contact with dog poo or wee etc. Our machine only goes up to 60 degrees

When using bottles dc will often wave his hand around and hit the teat then grab the bottle again, I’m so worried about bacteria but if I kept changing the bottle we would be there all day.

I just need somewhere to talk it lit I think. I’m aware I’m being over the top but I feel so stressed.

Yes, OTT. Baby poop gets on everything. Just whack it in the washing machine. What do you think people who use reusable nappies do? Smile

Gently, OP, almost everything you touch in the world has traces of poo on it. That's just life.

Poor you, you sound really worried. DC will be totally fine but I’d encourage you to speak to your heath visitor/GP as it sounds like possible postnatal anxiety or the like. It’s surprisingly common and there is help available. Hope things get easier for you soon.

Are you on your own OP? You sound as though you are getting yourself very very worked up
