Absolutely drained

DS is 1 this month and in 11.5 months he’s slept through (my definition being 7-6) twice

And that’s fine but every other night has been so broken. Even now I pretty much sleep in 2 hour (sometimes less) chunks I get woken so much

im so drained my eyes sting my head hurts if just love to go to bed and know I’m getting some sleep

i know he’s still young and is learning daily developing so fast so I get it I just needed to let it out :( I’ve been up now for 1.5 hours and I’m so tired I could cry

💐💖🌺🌸 I remember being like this. It is so hard. You will get through it and it will eventually get easier and you will have sleep again.

Is there anyone who can look after baby so you can get more sleep?

If you are breastfeeding can the baby’s dad sit with you while you lie down on your side and breastfeed? He can keep an eye out so you can safely fall asleep and when baby comes off the breast he can take baby for a bit.

Sleep train

Sleep training. Best money you will ever spend. My DC had an 8 month sleep regression, within a few weeks they started sleeping 7 - 7, plus 2-3 hours at lunch. Life saver.

Sleep train!

I think it's time to get a sleep consultant. Ideally by 1yo you'll be starting to see the light, this will continue if you don't do something about it. Toddlers are stubborn buggers!

I bought the book 'teach your child to sleep' It was the best thing I ever did. Ds1 was waking every 2 hours. There are different methods of sleep training to choose from based on your personal preferences and step by step instructions (vital when you are sleep deprived). We chose a gentle but long method and it worked a treat!

Oof I remember those nights. Is he still having milk overnight? Night weaning dramatically improved our number of wakeups and he finally started sleeping better.

Any yeah, I sleep trained. Cannot recommend it enough
