Is this milk intolerance or something to do with her diet? What the hell is going on?! (TMI)

DD is 19 months old. When she turned 1 she started drinking Alpro kids growing up soya milk. Her poos went from solid to completely mushy and the smell was absolutely ridiculous. It got to the point where if she’d poo outside the smell was so overbearing that we’d have to get off the bus. Last month I decided to change her milk to cow’s milk (I use Lactofree) in hope that her poos would become solid.

Well fuck me. As if I thought her nappies couldn’t get any worse the smell and texture has worsened by 100 times. Now her nappies are overfilling and she’ll have poo down her leg/up her back. Am I doing something wrong here? Is this sign of a milk intolerance? Is she not eating enough protein to harden her poo? Am I giving her the wrong milk? Can someone please help because I’m starting to think that potty training will be a nightmare if this continues. I’ve also started to be anxious at taking her to her toddler groups because the smell is so bad that I couldn’t change her in their open changing space.

I purposely haven’t name changed so people don’t think I’m a poo troll or anything

Children with cows milk allergy more often than not have soya allergy as the proteins are so similar (hence why they use soya as a milk replacement). It sounds like she has a dairy and soya non-ige allergy. I'd try coconut or oat milk.

You can get the oat growing up milk from Alpro. My CMPA children have horrendous sloppy poo from cow’s milk.

Thank you so much guys! She’s my first child so I don’t really know what I’m doing but I had a feeling this wasn’t right. I’ll certainly give the Alpro oat milk a try:)
