3 week old struggling to poo

I'm a FTM to a nearly 3 week old baby. She's exclusively breastfed and enjoys her milk a lot! However when she goes to poo she always becomes restless and then starts crying. I can see her really straining and trying to get it out and she can be difficult to console. When she does poo it's soft, runny and yellow like it should be for BF babies, so she's not constipated. She can be a bit gassy at times, we wind her after every feed but she doesn't burp much but farts quite a bit instead.

I've googled and it seems to be fairly normal, babies just don't have the muscle coordination yet.

I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I can make it better for her? Or if I can help her in any way? I hate seeing her in distress ☹️

Find yourself a baby massage course... some of the council run childrens centres near us even had them for free. Believe there were some massages to help, cycling their legs etc.

Alternatively you could probably find some massage ideas on youtube.

Thanks @Barleysugar86 I do know a midwife who offers one so I'll check it out :)
