Baby led weaning at nursery

Looking for people's experience with BLW at nursery. My 8mo is starting nursery 5 days a week next month. He's doing great with BLW, exploring finger foods and using a pre loaded spoon. I'm nervous that nursery will go one of too ways... Won't have the time/patience to let him explore food and will just spoon feed him? OR they won't serve/cut the food appropriately? How have your experiences been?

They will know how to cut the food. I expect they'll just put it on his tray and leave him to it. He may not actually eat much but I'm sure you're used to that!

They will and should ask about how he is fed and should let him crack on, but also I promise nothing bad will happen if they occasionally feed him with a spoon.
