low key party ideas for 2yr old

Having a few friends over with their kids, mainly 12mth upto 2yr, just wondered if anyone had any good ideas of what to do?

Get all of your shakers, rattles, musical instrument type toys, put on some funky music and let them make some noise for as long as you can bear!

Get the big cardboard boxes that the toys came in and let them get in and out of those for a bit.

I made loads of playdough and sat everyone down to play with that for a few minutes. Kept them happy and - crucially - quiet. Pass the parcel always a good one. Means everyone sits down for 10 minutes. Don't need anything very grand, present-wise, but make sure some raisins or something fall out of the layers as they pass round or they WILL lose interest at this age.
