Toys for 18 month old who likes screwing on bottle caps and sorting

My little boy loves putting objects inside other things (we do already have shape sorters) and putting lids into things. Wondering if there are any good toddler toys that are like this?

Giving this a bump because I’d very much like to know this too.

Don't over complicate it. You know what he likes. Get him some plastic jars with screw lids and some boxes with lids and leave him to it.

Stacking cubes can be good for putting things in and out of, obviously they go in each other, but also gives you ten boxes of different sizes to fill and empty.

In terms of things to put in the boxes, Duplo is fantastic and a toy that will last and last (also good for fixing together and pulling apart which is similar to putting lids on and off), but it could be anything farm animals, big buttons, cars, dinosaurs etc.

He may also like a postbox (make one from a cardboard box) and 'letters' to post. Or make small holes in a box and give him lolly sticks to post through. Or anything similar to this.

Russian dolls, drawstring bags, stacking cups. Melissa and Doug do a board with lots of fastenings to play with.

We used to make a tower with a hole from Duplo and post things through that.
