Hand, foot, and mouth question

Hi,

15mo DS has hfm and seems to be feeling quite poorly with it.

He has lots of spots including in his groin area and bottom. It looks like a very severe nappy rash and I’m not sure if I should be treating it as nappy rash and putting on cream (rarely gets nappy rash but always cleared up within a day by using metanium) or should I be just leaving it as related to hfm? Would metanium make it worse?

DS is not eating or drinking anything other than breast milk which I’m obviously offering regularly. Even turning his nose up at ice-cream and jelly!

Thanks for any advice

I would probably apply some sudocrem but then I put sudocrem on everything…

Think we used sudocrem as well when DS had it.
