So my 8week old (today) has always been a screamer 24/7 (colic and reflux and CPMA) - nightmare basically. He’s on Aptamil pepti 1 milk which seems to slightly help, also just been put on Omeprazol (sorry if that’s not correct spelling) for reflux and Lactulose as he goes 5/7 days no poo and screams in pain! He started sleeping as follows for a good 2 weeks
bed 9pm
wake for a feed 12/1am
Wake 3/4 feed
then sleep till about 7
Suddenly in the last few days he will NOT settle back down after his 3/4 feed at all, constant whinge and whines and crying in his next to me and if we leave him this turns to screams. I give in about 5ish and put him in bed with me where he will sleep for about 30 mins and then the screaming starts and literally goes on ALL DAY near enough. Nothing seems to keep him happy for settled for longer than 5 mins. I feel like if he’s not feeding he’s crying as he will also only seem to have about 2 naps per day for about 20/30 mins at a time.
Is there something that happens in their little bodies at 8 weeks? should i be putting him to bed earlier than 9pm?
I feel at a loss, i do have PND because of the colic and just as i was starting to feel better i feel like we have gone back in time. Sorry to ramble on!
