1 month old has diarrhoea and vomiting milk

1 month old DS has had diarrhea 3 times today and has been vomiting milk. The vomiting may be because he burped only once after drinking 3oz? Usually he burps 2-3 times after a feed but he only burped once today. Should I be worried? I can’t help but worry. He seems fine in himself, is feeding properly too. What should I do? First time mother as is obvious. I’m mixed feeding btw. Mostly breastfeeding but I’ve had really bad mastitis and a fever so I’ve been giving formula too.

Lots of little feeds and as long as he's is still making wet nappies you're ok but if you're worried call 111.

Hope he's better soon xx

And take care of yourself too !!

Keep feeding small and often. My kids always ate too much and getting burps out was a nightmare and they'd sick up lots of milk but they took enough in it was fine. As pp said as long as wet nappiea continue feeding- bf poo is often v v liquidy so it may be related to swallowing mucus if bsby has a cold. Hope you're both better soon

It’s really important for you to feed through mastitis. Are you on antibiotics? (You should be). Sometimes antibiotics can cause an upset tummy in bf babies.
