Baby limb movements normal?

This might sound a stupid question but I've never had a baby or really been around babies till my ds.

He's 6 months old, but the past couple of weeks he's really started to kick his legs and slap his arms about and he jolts south that I feel like I'm nearly dropping him when I'm carrying him sometimes.

He can't crawl yet, but he can roll both ways and pivots a lot. Is it normal for babies to go through a phase of violently throwing their arms and legs about? I was thinking it's maybe him building his muscles for crawling? If that's the case I assume he will calm down when he can crawl, hopefully!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes, sounds like he might be getting ready for the next stage Wink

Yes it’s normal. Incredibly annoying, but very normal!
