My 6mo started weaning last week and today had this dark green poo that was clay like for the first time? Any ideas? She also started lactose free milk yesterday because of suspected intolerance

Not being funny, did she have anything with spinach or other green veg in?
From Pampers website:
Green poo, in particular, can be alarming the first time you see it, but it’s usually harmless. All sorts of things can cause it, including some types of infant formula. It may be the result of certain medicines or green foods passed on to your baby through breast milk.
As long as your baby seems happy and well, with no change in his or her patterns of behaviour, sleeping or feeding, then green poo probably isn’t any cause for concern.
Check in with your doctor or health visitor if you notice other symptoms alongside the green poo.

Thankyou, the most recent thing she had was some fruit puree I made and some baby rice but nothing green. Guessing it must be the change in formula then

Could be the change in formula. We moved our baby to a comfort formula and it produced the biggest dark green poos which smelt so toxic they made our eyes water. We decided it didn’t make enough of a difference to his colic to make the new horrendous poos worth it 😆
