Just that really - he’s absolutely knackered. Routine hasn’t changed and he just will not go to sleep. Help!

I remember Dts doing this. It was part of the transaction down to a nap every other day. I wouldn't fight it, get him up, be prepared for a shorty evening but try and last till normal bed time. Hopefully he'll nap tomorrow.

Our 2yo doesn’t go down for naps anymore. I just accept that naps aren’t happening. She’ll sometimes fall asleep in the car so I’ll let her sleep for as long as she needs when that happens. Otherwise she’s done with naps. It’s a relief as naps have always been hard work.

Hey, I’ve also got a 2 almost 3 year old. He’d fight his nap and then fall asleep at 16.30.. it was a battle of not allowing danger naps for a while. But some days he was genuinely tired and I guess a bit like us he needed a Power Nap but now we’re a few months into no naps and he stays awake in the car etc, it’s just an adjustment. You’ll get there x
