I'm at the end of my patience spectrum and seriously feeling on the verge of a breakdown or something. My nearly 3yo DS just won't play on his own... ever!!! I just read online that a 3 year old should play for up to an hour alone- WTF? I have seriously been struggling with his clingyness for a while now.
Even screen time id say lasts 2 minutes before he gets agitated and starts running around again. I put on the tv and he watches it for 2/3 min max before hes jumping around again. Is this ADHD? I am feeling very envious of friends who's children give them a break by now. Thank the lord for nursery or I'd be down the adoption centre!
