15 month old hits and bites when angry

Most of the time he's a happy little boy but when he doesn't get what he wants he will throw things at you, punch you in the face with his tiny little hands, bite or pull your hair. And he always wants something.

I don't really mind the actual actions. If he's doing something to hurt his older sister I just say NO, then remove him from wherever he is and set him down somewhere else and ignore him for a bit.

I'm very, very worried though whether this is normal and if it's any indication of his personality, or of how he will be when he's older. Is he going to be bad tempered and violent when he grows up?

Has anyone had a toddler like this who then grew up to be a considerate and kind person?

Is there anything we can do to help him become like that?

Sounds very similar to my little boy so I'm following for answers...

Toddlers do not have the cognition to consciously understand the emotional toll of their actions at that age, and thus that type of behaviour is not malicious but a way of expressing their emotions and communicating. What will determine behaviour whether they grow up is your compassion and understanding in helping them to navigate and express feelings safely.
