Babies first Christmas

Hey

I'm looking for some ideas on what to get my son for his first Christmas, he will be 8 months. I know people have different ideas of first Christmas but I'm not going over board on toys as he's still so young, I want to get him something meaningful that we can have as a keepsake for when he's older

My baby was almost 6 months during Christmas last year so we kept gifts at a minimum too. Some of the things she got and now still love is her shape sorter, peg puzzle (her godparents got it customised so it’s “Amelia’s farm”), stacking cups, wooden blocks, lego duploand sensory blocks

Photo book and Christmas tree decoration with their names

A photo bauble for the tree. Ours comes out every year as a memory of first Christmas

You can get a personalised 'X's first Christmas' book too, books aren't more toys and tat and it's a nice thing to look back on.

A big cardboard box - best present ever for that age!

My baby was 5 or 6 weeks old at her first Christmas. We bought a few toys that she'd grow into in the following year. We are doing the same this year as well.

The sticking, Christmas eve box if you want one, santa plate... basically all the stuff for future years.
