Water in take

How much water/juice is normal for a 16 month to drink.
My DD has quite a lot on a day although we do have a log fire which I'm not sure makes a difference with the heat. I also don't know if it's for just for comfort.
She had roughly 2 bottles of milk a day then the water can range but on an average I'd say around four
Is this too much?

Do you give it in bottles? If so it could well be just for comfort.

I think by 16 months had just about finished with bottles entirely (they say you should stop at 12 months but she wasn't ready) and was having 5 oz milk from a sippy cup first thing in the morning, then frequent drinks of water from an open cup throughout the day. I wouldn't give juice at all at this age, especially not from a bottle, as it's awful for their teeth.

I don't think they can really drink too much water unless you notice a sharp increase and it becomes really excessive. That can indicate diabetes.

Could you swap the bottles to cups and see if that reduces her intake? Agree with the PP that she could just be having the bottle for comfort.

I would swap juice for water too.
