18 month old leaking every night

My 18 month old's nappies are leaking every night.

He sleeps 12/13 hours so it is a lot of wee to hold.

I've moved him up to a size 5, tried pull ups instead of nappies and tried various brands but all leak. His willy is definitely pointing down!

He has 6-8oz milk before bed which I don't really want to reduce as he is on the slim side and I also struggle to get him to drink enough throughout the day.

Any magical ideas!?

Does he wear a vest? If so, go up a size.. this helped when my DD kept leaking.

You need a bigger nappy. I know kids are all different. Ours is a very average size at 18m and in a size 6.

Have you tried the plus ones so 5+? They’re more absorbent

I had this problem with my 14 month old. Has improved with a bigger vest (18-24months so not pulling at the crotch) and I put him in size 5+ pampers (personally find them more absorbent) than a size 6 Aldi pull up over the top. HTH xx

My 13 month old is in size 6…

I would put them in size 6 from about 6 months onwards. I think the boots nappies were the best at the time but that was years ago, there is probably better ones now.

Do you do a change whilst they’re asleep? My LO went down about 7/7.30
and I would change them in their sleep around my bedtime 10pm

Have nappies changed size - my dd was in size 4 aged 4!
