Hi looking for a bit of advice. I have a 1 year old daughter who has been sleeping in her cot for few months now. Suffice to say it's not going to well. Before the cot she was in a next to me crib. But often would be unsettled until I put her in my arms and then let her sleep with me. She is the lightest sleeper I have ever seen. When falling asleep if you try to put her down she's instantly awake and unhappy. When she Naps in the car. The minute the engine is off she's awake and ready to join you no matter how little sleep she has had.
So routine at the moment is read her couple of stories. Then put her in bed and leave her with a bottle she will xey for 10-15 minutea then accept it and drink her milk and go to sleep. I hate doing it this way but she just refuses to settle or sit down. After this she will awake 3-4 times a night I will give her a bottle of milk and off she goes. Unfortunately the last month on the 3/4 time the bottle is no longer enough and she basically ends up in bed with me. She will then go to sleep. Obviously I can't do this forever and my sleep is all over the place because of it. I'm sleeping in the bedroom with her and my son is with my wife. I don't want to just leave her in her cot crying but not sure how to move past this. Blesher she's the klingiest baby I've ever known. Cute but hard work for us both
