When did your child say their name?

Silly to worry but I keep reading that at 2 children can say their name or appropriate pronouns (mine / me and so on.)

DS is two next month and hasn’t done this yet. He does know his name and he seems to be at an average level of verbal development although I know a lot of toddlers with far more words so does worry me a bit!

Ds is turning two soon and says me and mine but not his name yet.

DS is two and a half and the other way round. Refers to everyone (himself included) in the third person but does say his name. He can’t pronounce is properly but says his version of it consistently.
Please don’t worry, OP. If he otherwise has a level of speech you’re happy with, then stop worrying and he’ll say it in his own time. Easier said than done, I know,

DC first said their own first name at 14m and by 15m was saying "[name] do!" to indicate they wanted to do something themself.

Now a recently turned 2yo, DC says "no MINE do it!" and "I'm did it!" and can tell me our road and house number. Still working on saying our surname though!

Sometime before her 4th birthday, but with the letter E the wrong way round, for a long time before she got it right 😂
