Birthday Party - A few people not RSVP'd

Hi,

Looking for a bit of advice as this is the first proper party we have arranged for DC. We have booked a soft play centre and invited the entire class. Most people have responded but I am waiting to hear back from at least 10 at the moment, if they can't go I would be inviting my friends kids (currently not invited due to number limits, friends are aware of the situation).

My question is, would it be rude to message them on google classroom individually to ask if the are going or not? I would wait until a week before the party.

Don't want to come across as pushy but I do really need to confirm the numbers.

😀

Not at all! Most people are busy and it will just have slipped their mind. A gentle chase/reminder is absolutely fine!!

Not rude at all- just say you need final numbers by x date

Thanks very much 😀

Hi hardboiledeggs, I’m in the exact same situation and have already handed out a reminder that went in the children's book bags but still waiting a reply from 7 and like you I’m limited in numbers but would like to invite a couple of ds’ old nursery friends… I had no idea that you can message people individually on Google classroom, I’ll check that out👍 My next headache is to get a large vegan birthday cake, wish me luck🤣 Hope your child has a fantastic party x
