When you are going to descale the prep machine do you have to change filter as well, the filter said it should last 3 months, mine not in 2 full months yet, its confusing because the descale light is alot the filter change light, can anyone shed any light on this

My first filter I changed at 3 months. Now I just wait for it to tell me.

I change the filter when it tells me it needs changing, don't change it for a clean. How long a filter lasts depends on how often its used I think, I'm sure I had to change it more often in the early days when we were going through what seemed like 100 bottles a day!

I might be wrong on this though so don't take my word on it!
