Recently broken up with children's dad.. he is currently going through his issues.. two different cars, a trip away and a new dog.. A cane corso! While I have been looking after the kids alone and without any financial help from him. Now he has decided he wanted the children to visit him to show off his new dog. I do not agree in the breed of dog he has chosen along with the fact he will not train or treat the dog well, I know from experience of having a dog together. He had the children from school today and literally 5 minutes later he sent me a picture of my 3 year old with a scratch down her face from the puppy. I really have no confidence in letting the kids be at his. He is not very aware of his surroundings and usually distracted on his phone. I just want him to be a responsible parent that I don't have to worry about my children being at his house. I just need to vent. He loves his children but he is very selfish and not the sharpest. I'm annoyed he is ruining the coparenting potential and he won't have them overnight either, I wldnt let them now.

Cane Corso breeds can make fabulous dogs and rescues will home puppies to families.

However your ex sounds stupid, so it does not bode well…. No advice really- I wouldn’t let my child go there but I suppose you can’t really prevent that.
