Threats of social services

Long story short
My children's dad always threatens full custody ect when I disagree with something or ask something.
He has now gone on to say that he is going to call school and social services due to the childrens well-being whilst with me.
My children are happy and always have my support.
My question is, would you contact social services or school and explain his worries and see if they want to be involved? So then I can stop the threats.

I don’t think it would be a bad thing to call and ask for some advice about how to respond to these threats; I used to work in this area and we’d have discussions like this with parents.
It may also stop the threats if you say you’ve already spoken to them as it’d take the sting out of fear he’s trying to impose on you.
