6 month old has oral thrush and a cold

So on Wednesday my little girl woke up really hot to touch, she wasn't herself all day and then I noticed her lips had white on them, almost looked like peeling skin. Then inside her mouth looked like it was covered in ulcers and she just kept screaming so we took her to a&e as couldn't see a gp till the next morning.

We went, they told her she had a sore throat and looked like a fungal infection in her mouth, oral thrush. Have some liquid drops to give her 4 times a day. Now Sunday and she's full of cold, her nose is stuffy, she's got a raspy cough. Her mouth still has white spots on the inside of the cheeks. She's off her milk, taking 3oz max at a time. She will however finish her porridge in the morning. But getting milk into her is a struggle. I've even tried water with a drop of juice, has a sip and that's it.

But is oral thrush normal for her to have at 6 months old? I'm very conscious of sterilising her bottles/dummies. I'm just concerned it's not thrush and cough be tonsillitis?

Hope she's feeling a bit better today. Have you managed to get her into the GPs?

@PritiPatelsMaker no better today, just so bunged up. No sooner I clear her nose it's full again. Her cough still raspy, but she's not crying as much when coughing. Just very grumpy and whiney. Still only taking 2oz at a time. I'm going to ring the GP tomorrow morning. Ive given it enough days now with no improvement

Personally I wouldn't leave it a further day. Sounds like she needs checking out, but that's just me.
