How do you manage toddler tummy?

My toddler constantly has runny poos. Doctor isn't concerned as his weight is fine.

We give him a lactose free diet as that seems to help a tiny bit. We are under the dietician who has suggested we use the milk ladder to reintroduce milk but we have stopped at level one. It is so hard to tell if the milk makes a difference as he still constantly has runny poos. Doctor says it's toddler tummy.

What do I do in the mean time? He gets nappy rash so often as he is pooing so often. What foods could I give him that might help with this? Basically the opposite to fibre.

Anyone else have children who grew out of it?

Go back to the GP and demand further investigation.

Yeah, this isn't right and needs investigating not brushing off.

I've never heard of toddler tummy. I think I'd feel like I was being fobbed off in your situation and be looking for a second opinion

Following this as we’re starting to think there’s an issue with our toddler. One thing we have noticed is when it got colder we switched his breakfast from cereal to porridge and I think it’s got better so not sure if it’s a wheat sensitivity perhaps. once he’s over this cold he’s currently got we’re going to do some investigating properly

OK I better call the dietician tomorrow. I just googled toddler tummy and it's not showing up on NHS I really thought it was a thing.
