Pillow/blanket

I am just wondering at what age you put a pillow or blanket in the cot with your toddler?

My DD is 20 months and sleeps great but has nothing in the cot. I am thinking of putting in a pillow and blanket for her to get used to but I know it's a risk when they are little. She does also have a sleep bag for warmth and comfort.

I used blankets from birth. Pillows about 18 months but they were both still in my bed at 18 months.

Mine didn’t have a pillow until they went in a bed when they were 24 months, but they’d used a pillow when in my bed.

We've just started with a pillow but no duvet for our nearly 2 year old. He seems to quite like the pillow and often takes his cuddly toys up there to snuggle with, and it's definitely helped him stay at one end a bit more. We're still using sleeping bags though as he's a climber Confused

Thank you all. I'll definitely try giving her a pillow then :)

@addler yes mine is a wriggler and ends up all different ends of the cot so I'm not sure if she will actually sleep on the pillow 😂🤞🏼

We gave DD a pillow just after 15 months, when desperately trying to find a solution to get her to sleep longer! She seemed to like putting her head on our pillow when in our bed so thought we'd give it a try. Funilly enough she doesn't go all over the place in her bed now so maybe it's helping.
